ArmA II +DayZ Mod

ArmA II: Combined Operations (ArmA II + ArmA II OA)
Minimum requirements:
  • CPU: Dual-core Intel Core 2.4 GHz or AMD Athlon 2.4 GHz.
  • Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce 8600GT or ATI Radeon 3650 or better with Shader Model 3 and 512 MB VRAM.
  • RAM: 1 GB.
  • O.S.: Windows XP, Vista or 7.
  • Hard disk: 18 GB.

What do i need before playing DayZ Mod?
You'll need these two version (Combined Operations & Operation Arrowhead) to play with DayZ Mod

How to install these two version? The DayZ Mod? The Updates?

You don't have to make every effort, now you can download the ArmA II 'CO + OA' (with working DayZ MOD) v1.60 with working LAN for Tunngle on the [D]Section and play it.


[T] How to play ArmA II DayZ Mod in Tunngle:
  1. Install ArmA II: Combined Operations (Or ArmA II + ArmA II: Operation Arrowhead)
  2. Download and Install latest Update
  3. Download and Install latest Beta Update
  4. Download and Install latest DayZ Mod
    1. (Optional) Older DayZ Mod Versions
  5. Create a Desktop Shortcut for ArmA II with the following Parameters:"-beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -mod=@DayZ -nosplash"
    Example: "X:\XYZ\ArmA 2\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -mod=@DayZ -nosplash
    Note: Make sure the "Start in" Parameter from Shortcut Properties is set to X:\XYZ\ArmA 2\ and NOT to X:\XYZ\ArmA 2\Expansion\beta\
  6. Join the ArmA II - DayZ Mod network
  7. Start the Game with the Shortcut
  8. Go to "Multiplayer" and choose "LAN"
  9. Join any Server (Must have the same Updates!)
  10. Have Fun

HOW TO: HOST A SERVER

HOW TO FIX: WAITING FOR CHARACTER TO CREATE

  • If you get this Message for longer than a couple of Seconds:
    1. Press "ESC"
    2. Disconnect, but don't leave the Server
    3. Change your Character Slot
    4. Repeat multiple times if it doesn't work

COMMON PROBLEMS

  • I start with no Weapons: As of Version 1.7.1.5 it is supposed to be like that.
  • Invisible Characters,right-clicking on items not working: You're not launching the Game using the Beta Executable! (latest version 1.60.93965).
